September 9th discount day for AWSG Members!
A special arrangement has been made with Marks & Spencer’s new store at Yu Garden! So for one day only between the hours of 10.00am and 4.00pm on Thursday September 9th AWSG members will receive 10% discount on all full price items in the store including food. Current membership card MUST be produced. Please note, this special arrangement does NOT apply to the Nanjing Xi Lu store.
NEW Member Benefits
Apart from the fantastic 15% discount deal with Elders, which was recently announced, Kooka Pies has also agreed to give members a frequent buyer card next time Paul comes to the AWSG coffee morning. This will entitle you to buy ten pies, pasties, sausage rolls and all the other goodies and only pay for nine. Again this amounts to a 10% discount.
AustCham Luncheon with Kate Lamont

THRIVE – 35 women from 18 countries
Thrive (Grace Publishing Ltd.), a new book profiling the lives of 34 women from 18 countries who have come to Shanghai and redefined success for themselves, will be on sale for RMB 295 at the August 18th AWSG Coffee Morning. This collection of mini-memoirs accompanied by beautiful black and white photography, tells the stories of everyday women—most who arrived here as accompanying spouses—choosing to not only survive the challenges of this fast-paced city, but to thrive in it. Koala Kids Playgroup

Our venue changes from time to time, please register your interest at koalakids@awsg.org, to receive weekly updates. Koala Kids is a support group for AWSG members with young children.
